How I predicted the first NBA Playoff game correctly using astrology.
Not bad for my first official toe dip into sports betting.
Yesterday I was sitting with my brother at Culver’s and I asked him what big sports games to look out for. He told me the NBA was having their seed-derived playoff games and the NHL playoffs were kicking off soon too. He let me know about the first games of the NBA playoffs and explained how the teams were bracketed prior to making the final 8 teams. I didn’t have my pc with me so I pulled up the game’s chart on my SF app on my phone and got right into astrologizing. I decided to make it extremely straightforward and I assigned the home (and favored) team to the 1st House and the challenger (and 15 to 1 expected loser) to the 7th.
So the first house was then the Miami Heat and the 7H was the Atlanta Hawks. (I considered including the 3H into this inquiry since my brother really doesn’t like the Hawks, but I kept it as simple as possible.) The first house was Libra rising and the ruler was in Gemini in the 9th House. Not a terrible placement, but not immediately amazing. Popping over to the 7th house we had the rising sign of Aries, ruled by Mars which was placed in the 10th house, quite close to the Mc. This in itself is almost an immediate indication of winner winner chicken dinner, but it can’t always be that easy, can it?
In that same house was also the Jupiter Sun conjunction happening at the same time and squaring that Mars by sign in the 10H. So, I had accounted for the important planets in the two main houses and their rulers. Now it was time to look at the Moon. The Moon is not only very often used as a second ascendant in horary astrology, but in this particular case, it ruled the 10H of victory, so it was very important to see that the Moon made some kind of contact with the ruler of one of the two competing houses.
Sadly, for the Libra rising 1H, the Moon was out to lunch. No contact there. However, the Moon was within 5* of an opposition with the ruler of the 7H, Mars.
I refrained from breaking things down any further as I felt as though this was sufficient enough evidence to predict that the team represented by the 1H (the Miami Heat) would ultimately lose to the 7H (Atlanta Hawks), and given the super charged square being applied by the Sun and Jupiter directly to Mars, I also predicted it would be a bit of a bloodbath, and well, it was. Atlanta kept the lead the whole game and it was a total upset.
I am going to try to keep a log of my game predictions so I can keep track of all the data in one place. Follow me on my journey of applying horary astrology to sports.
Also wish me luck because I am a nerdy music kid that knows fuck all about sports and really kind of cares fuck all about sports. It’s all about the astro, baby.

I really wish I knew more about sports, because I actually do enjoy watching. The best stories come from war and sports.
I love that your analysis is so straight forward. Idk if you're into asteroids or not, but a while back I saw an interesting post on reddit where one user noted the connection between Ceres and sporting events. Maybe that's something worth looking into for gits n' shiggles? Just to see how it factors into things and note patterns.
